Ingredients

  • 1 sheet of puff pastry, thawed
  • 8 ounces of mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 1 clove of garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon of thyme leaves
  • 4 ounces of cream cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. Roll out the puff pastry sheet onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  3. In a pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the mushrooms, garlic, and thyme leaves. Cook until the mushrooms are tender and any liquid has evaporated.

  4. Spread the cream cheese onto the puff pastry, leaving a border around the edges.

  5. Top the cream cheese with the cooked mushrooms.

  6. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.

  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the puff pastry is golden brown and crisp.

  8. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
