How To Make Morel Mushroom and Blue Cheese Tart Recipe
A savory tart filled with earthy morel mushrooms, tangy blue cheese and a creamy custard base.

Ingredients
- 1 sheet of frozen puff pastry
- 1 cup of morel mushrooms, cleaned and sliced
- 2 oz. of blue cheese, crumbled
- 1/4 cup of heavy cream
- 1/4 cup of milk
- 2 eggs
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions

Preheat oven to 400°F.

Roll out the puff pastry and place it in a tart pan.

In a pan, sauté the morel mushrooms until soft and slightly browned.

Spread the mushrooms evenly on top of the puff pastry.

Sprinkle the crumbled blue cheese over the mushrooms.

In a bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, milk, eggs, salt, and pepper.

Pour the custard mixture over the mushrooms and cheese.

Bake the tart for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown.
