Ingredients

  • 2 cups forest fruits (such as raspberries, blackberries, and blueberries)
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Powdered sugar, for dusting

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking dish.

  2. In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, and salt.

  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs, and vanilla extract.

  4. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring until well combined.

  5. Place the forest fruits in an even layer in the bottom of the baking dish.

  6. Pour the batter over the fruits, making sure they are evenly covered.

  7. Bake for 40 minutes or until the clafoutis is set and golden brown on top.

  8. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes.

  9. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
