  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 cups fresh cherries, pitted
  • Powdered sugar, for dusting (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch pie dish.

  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, flour, sugar, milk, vanilla extract, and salt until well combined and smooth.

  3. Arrange the pitted cherries evenly in the greased pie dish.

  4. Pour the batter over the cherries, making sure they are fully covered.

  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 35 minutes, or until the clafoutis is set and golden brown on top.

  6. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes. Dust with powdered sugar, if desired.

  7. Serve warm or at room temperature. Enjoy!
