How To Make Microwave Chocolate Cake
This is a quick and delicious chocolate cake made in the microwave.

- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/8 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

In a microwave-safe mug, whisk together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt until well combined.

Add in the milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract. Stir until the batter is smooth and no lumps remain.

Place the mug in the microwave and cook on high for 2 minutes. Check the cake for doneness by inserting a toothpick into the center. If it comes out clean, the cake is done. If not, continue cooking in 30-second intervals until done.
