Preparation: 20 minutes
Cooking: 12 minutes
Total: 32 minutes

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips
  • Orange and black icing for decorating

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

  3. Add in the vanilla extract and mix until well combined.

  4. Gradually add in the flour, mixing until a dough forms.

  5. Roll the dough into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter, and place them on the prepared baking sheet.

  6. Flatten each ball slightly with the palm of your hand to create the shape of a snowman.

  7. Bake the biscuits in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.

  8. Remove from the oven and immediately press 2 mini chocolate chips onto each biscuit for the eyes.

  9. Allow the biscuits to cool completely before decorating the snowman’s face with orange and black icing.

  10. Serve and enjoy!
