How To Make Melted Snowman Cookies

Ingredients
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tbsp milk
- 1/2 tsp almond extract
- mini chocolate chips
- orange jelly beans
- black licorice strings
Instructions

In a large bowl, cream together the butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, mixing until just combined.

Divide the dough into 24 equal parts and roll each into a ball. Place the dough balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, leaving space in between.

Bake at 350°F (175°C) for about 10 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden. Allow the cookies to cool completely.

In a small bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar, milk, and almond extract to make the glaze.

Dip each cookie into the glaze, allowing any excess to drip off. Place the glazed cookies back on the baking sheet.

Decorate each cookie to resemble a melted snowman using mini chocolate chips for the eyes and buttons, an orange jelly bean for the nose, and black licorice strings for the mouth and arms.

Allow the glaze to set completely before serving.
