  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup chopped hazelnuts

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.

  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter. Stir in the sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until well combined.

  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.

  4. Fold in the chopped hazelnuts.

  5. Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.

  6. Bake for 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
