A rich and creamy chocolate hazelnut gelato that is perfect for dessert.

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of whole milk
  • 1 cup of heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup of sugar
  • 1/4 cup of cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup of hazelnut spread
  • 1 tsp of vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan over medium heat, whisk together milk, cream, sugar, and cocoa powder until sugar is dissolved.

  2. Remove from heat and stir in hazelnut spread and vanilla extract until smooth.

  3. Let mixture cool to room temperature, then chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.

  4. Pour mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to manufacturer’s instructions.

  5. Transfer gelato to a freezer-safe container and freeze for at least 2 hours before serving.
