How To Make Deep-dish Cheese, Onion & Potato Pie
A delicious and hearty pie filled with layers of cheese, onion, and potato, baked to perfection in a deep dish.

Ingredients
- 1 ready-made deep-dish pie crust
- 2 large potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
- 1 large onion, thinly sliced
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup milk
- 3 eggs
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

Line the deep-dish pie crust with a layer of potato slices, followed by a layer of onion slices. Sprinkle half of the shredded cheese on top.

Repeat the layers of potatoes, onions, and cheese until all the ingredients are used.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs, salt, black pepper, and dried thyme. Pour this mixture over the layers in the pie crust, making sure to evenly distribute it.

Place the pie dish on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour, or until the potatoes are tender and the top is golden brown.

Allow the pie to cool for a few minutes before serving. Cut into wedges and enjoy!
