How To Make Chocolate & Almond Marbled Bundt Cake
A deliciously moist bundt cake with swirls of chocolate and almond flavors.
Serves:
Ingredients
- 1 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 ½ tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp salt
- ¾ cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- ½ cup whole milk
- ¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- ½ cup chopped almonds
Instructions
-
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and generously grease a bundt cake pan.
-
In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
-
In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
-
Beat in the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract.
-
Gradually add in the flour mixture, alternating with the milk, beginning and ending with the flour mixture.
-
Divide the batter in half. In one half, mix in the cocoa powder until well combined.
-
Spoon dollops of the plain batter and the chocolate batter alternatively into the prepared pan.
-
Use a butter knife or skewer to gently swirl the batters together to create a marbled effect.
-
Sprinkle chopped almonds over the top of the batter.
-
Bake for 50-55 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
-
Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
-
Serve and enjoy!
