  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup freshly squeezed key lime juice
  • 2 cans (14 oz each) sweetened condensed milk
  • 4 egg yolks
  • Whipped cream, for garnish
  • Lime zest, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.

  2. In a bowl, mix the graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter until well combined.

  3. Press the mixture into a 9-inch pie pan, making sure to cover the bottom and sides of the pan evenly.

  4. Bake for 10 minutes, then let the crust cool while you prepare the filling.

  5. In a separate bowl, whisk together the condensed milk, egg yolks, and lime juice until well combined.

  6. Pour the filling into the crust and smooth it out with a spatula.

  7. Bake for about 15 minutes or until set. Let it cool to room temperature, then chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.

  8. Garnish the pie with whipped cream and lime zest before serving.
