Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups of water
  • 1/2 cup of granulated sugar
  • 2 tbsp of instant coffee powder
  • 2 tbsp of fresh lemon juice

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine water and sugar. Bring it to a simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally until the sugar dissolves.

  2. Remove from heat and stir in instant coffee powder until it fully dissolves.

  3. Stir in lemon juice.

  4. Pour the mixture into a shallow suitable container and freeze for 2 hours.

  5. Scrape the granita with a fork and serve in glasses or cups.
