This rendition of the bloody mary pays homage to the classic recipe with a rich dash of Tabasco, Worcestershire sauce, and a sprinkle of lemon juice.

  • ice cubes
  • 1 ½ozvodka
  • ¾ cupspicy vegetable juice cocktail
  • 2dashesWorcestershire sauce
  • pinchcelery salt
  • 1dashtabasco
  • 2tsplemon juice
  • 1stalkcelery
  • 1beanspickled, optional


  1. Moisten the rim of a glass. Pour celery salt onto a shallow plate and rub the glass in the salt. Set aside.

  2. Combine all remaining ingredients except garnisin a cocktail shaker. Top with ice and shake well.

  3. Fill the prepared glass with ice and strain tomato mixture into the glass.
