Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup of unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup of sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/2 cup of unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup of caramel sauce
  • 1/4 cup of chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a tart pan.

  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, sugar, and salt.

  3. Add the melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients and mix until well combined.

  4. Fold in the chocolate chips and pour the batter into the prepared tart pan.

  5. Drizzle the caramel sauce over the top of the batter and sprinkle with chopped nuts, if desired.

  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the center is set and the edges are slightly crisp.

  7. Allow the tart to cool before serving. Enjoy!
