Ingredients
- 1 pre-made tart crust
- 2 onions, thinly sliced
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 cup shredded cheese (such as Gruyere, cheddar, or goat cheese)
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a large skillet, heat the butter and olive oil over medium heat. Add the onions and cook until caramelized, about 15 minutes. Set aside to cool.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk. Season with salt and pepper.

Place the pre-made tart crust on a baking sheet. Spread the caramelized onions evenly over the crust.

Sprinkle the shredded cheese on top of the onions.

Pour the egg and milk mixture over the cheese.

Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the tart is golden and set.
