How To Make Chocolate Tapioca Pudding

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup tapioca pearls
- 3 cups milk
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- Whipped cream and chocolate shavings for garnish
Instructions

In a medium saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a boil. Add tapioca pearls and cook for 15 minutes until they are translucent and tender.

Drain the tapioca pearls and rinse under cold water. Set aside.

In the same saucepan, combine milk, sugar, cocoa powder, and salt. Stir until well combined.

Heat the milk mixture over medium heat until it starts to simmer.

Slowly add the cooked tapioca pearls to the milk mixture, stirring constantly.

Cook for an additional 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the pudding thickens.

Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract and chocolate chips until melted and smooth.

Pour the pudding into serving bowls or glasses and refrigerate for at least 2 hours until chilled and set.
