Ingredients

  • 2 cups shredded cabbage
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 eggs

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic, and cook until they are soft and translucent.

  3. Add the shredded cabbage to the skillet and cook for an additional 5 minutes, until the cabbage is wilted.

  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and black pepper.

  5. In another bowl, beat the eggs and milk together.

  6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the egg mixture, stirring until well combined.

  7. Fold in the cooked cabbage mixture.

  8. Pour the mixture into a greased pie dish.

  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until the pie is golden brown and set in the middle.

  10. Allow the pie to cool for a few minutes before serving.
