Ingredients

  • 1 fresh Savoy cabbage, thinly shredded
  • 1 red onion, thinly sliced
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 1 tsp of salt
  • 1/2 tsp of black pepper
  • 1 pre-made pie crust

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.

  2. In a large pan, sauté the sliced red onion until it becomes translucent.

  3. Add the shredded Savoy cabbage to the pan and cook until it wilts down.

  4. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and black pepper.

  5. Spread the cooked cabbage and onion mixture onto the pre-made pie crust.

  6. Pour the egg mixture over the cabbage and onions.

  7. Bake in the preheated oven for about 40 minutes or until the pie is set and golden brown.

  8. Allow the pie to cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
