How To Make Old Fashioned Raisin Pie

- 1 ½ cups raisins
- 1 cup water
- ¾ cup granulated sugar
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon grated lemon zest
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon
- ¼ teaspoon nutmeg
- ⅛ teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 unbaked pastry crust
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a saucepan, combine the raisins, water, sugar, flour, lemon juice, lemon zest, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the mixture thickens.

Remove from heat and stir in the melted butter. Let the filling cool slightly.
