Ingredients

  • 1 sheet of refrigerated pie crust
  • 2 ripe bananas, sliced
  • 1/4 cup of maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup of chopped pecans
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • 1 tbsp of granulated sugar (for sprinkling)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. Roll out the pie crust and cut out 4-inch circles.

  3. Place a spoonful of sliced bananas in the center of each circle.

  4. Drizzle maple syrup over the bananas.

  5. Sprinkle chopped pecans on top.

  6. Fold the circles in half and seal the edges with a fork.

  7. Place the pies on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  8. Brush the tops with beaten egg and sprinkle with granulated sugar.

  9. Bake for 20 minutes, or until golden brown.

  10. Allow to cool before serving.
