How To Make Italian Rice Pie

- 1 cup Arborio rice
- 2 cups whole milk
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup raisins (optional)
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch pie dish.

In a medium saucepan, combine the rice, milk, and sugar. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the rice is tender and the mixture has thickened, about 20 minutes.

In a small bowl, beat the eggs, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt together. Gradually add the egg mixture to the rice mixture, stirring constantly.
