How To Make Italian Spinach and Ricotta Pie Recipe

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the diced onion and minced garlic, sauté until fragrant and translucent.
Add the fresh spinach to the skillet and cook until wilted, approximately 3-4 minutes.
In a large bowl, combine the cooked spinach, ricotta cheese, grated Parmesan cheese, beaten eggs, salt, black pepper, and nutmeg. Mix well until thoroughly combined.
Place the pre-made pie crust into a 9-inch pie dish. Pour the spinach and ricotta mixture into the pie crust, spreading it evenly.
Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the pie is set and golden brown on top.
Allow the pie to cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
