  • 1 pre-made pie crust
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 4 cups fresh spinach
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg


  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the diced onion and minced garlic, sauté until fragrant and translucent.

  3. Add the fresh spinach to the skillet and cook until wilted, approximately 3-4 minutes.

  4. In a large bowl, combine the cooked spinach, ricotta cheese, grated Parmesan cheese, beaten eggs, salt, black pepper, and nutmeg. Mix well until thoroughly combined.

  5. Place the pre-made pie crust into a 9-inch pie dish. Pour the spinach and ricotta mixture into the pie crust, spreading it evenly.

  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the pie is set and golden brown on top.

  7. Allow the pie to cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
