How To Make Ham and Cheese Calzones

Ingredients
- 1 pound pizza dough
- 8 ounces cooked ham, diced
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup diced red bell pepper
- 1/4 cup diced green bell pepper
- 1/4 cup diced onion
- 1/4 cup marinara sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 egg, beaten
Instructions

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).

Divide the pizza dough into 4 equal portions and roll each portion into a circle, about 6 inches in diameter.

In a mixing bowl, combine the diced ham, shredded mozzarella, Parmesan, diced bell peppers, onion, marinara sauce, oregano, garlic powder, and black pepper.

Spoon a quarter of the filling onto one half of each dough circle, leaving a small border around the edges.

Fold the other half of the dough over the filling and pinch the edges to seal.

Place the calzones onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Brush the tops of the calzones with the beaten egg.

Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the calzones are golden brown and crispy.
