  • 1 1/2 cups of sugar
  • 1/2 cup of cornmeal
  • 1/2 cup of melted butter
  • 1/4 cup of milk
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon of vinegar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the sugar, cornmeal, melted butter, milk, vanilla extract, eggs, and vinegar. Mix well until all the ingredients are fully combined.

  3. Pour the mixture into a pre-made pie crust.

  4. Bake the pie in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until the filling is set and golden brown on top.

  5. Remove the pie from the oven and let it cool completely before serving. You can serve it at room temperature or chilled.
