Ingredients

  • 2 Bramley apples, peeled and sliced
  • 1 cup blackberries
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 pie crust

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).

  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the sliced apples, blackberries, sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon, and lemon juice.

  3. Roll out the pie crust and line a 9-inch pie dish with it.

  4. Pour the fruit mixture into the pie crust and spread evenly.

  5. Cover the pie with a second pie crust or create a lattice pattern with strips of pastry.

  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 40 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and the filling is bubbly.

  7. Remove from the oven and allow to cool slightly before serving.
