How To Make Bramley & Blackberry Tray Cake

- 2 Bramley apples, peeled, cored, and diced
- 1 cup blackberries
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a rectangular baking tray.

In a medium bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, and cinnamon together.

In a separate large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

Beat in the eggs, one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract.

Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing well after each addition.
