How To Make Hummus and Tapenade Sandwich Spread

This vegan-friendly and herby sandwich spread is made with 2 kinds of olives, hummus, and tahini, for a creamy side addition to your favorite sandwiches!

  • ¼cupkalamata olives,pitted, drained
  • 2tbspgreen olives,pitted
  • 8ozhummus,(1 container)
  • 1tbsptahini
  • 1tspfresh Italian parsley,minced
  • 1tspfresh rosemary,minced
  • ½tspground coriander
  • tspgarlic powder
  • tsponion powder
  • tspground black pepper


  1. Place the Kalamata olives and green olives in a food processor, then pulse until minced.

  2. Combine the minced olives, hummus, tahini, parsley, rosemary, coriander, garlic powder, onion powder, and pepper together in a bowl until thoroughly combined.

  3. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or preferably overnight.

  4. Use as desired and enjoy.
