How To Make Copycat Drumstick Ice Cream Cones

These ice cream cones are inspired by a childhood favorite- Drumsticks. This recipe only needs a few ingredients and has a chocolate shell and peanuts.

Ingredients

  • 4cupshalf-and-half
  • 14ozsweetened condensed milk,can
  • 2tbspvanilla extract
  • cupmilk chocolate disks
  • tbspcoconut oil
  • 3tbsppeanuts
  • 8waffle cones

Instructions

  1. Mix together the half and half, sweetened condensed milk and vanilla.

  2. Add to ice cream maker and freeze according to instructions.

  3. Let the ice cream set up and freeze solid overnight.

  4. Coat the inside of the cone with melted chocolate for more authenticity.

  5. Scoop some ice cream into a cone and level it off, then top it with a large rounded scoop. Refreeze.

  6. Melt chocolate and coconut oil in the microwave together in 30-second increments.

  7. In the meantime chop up the peanuts.

  8. Dip the ice cream cone upside down into the homemade magic shell and immediately sprinkle with peanuts. The shell will freeze vary quickly.

  9. Freeze until ready to eat.
