How To Make Blueberry Buttermilk Clafoutis
This clafoutis recipe whips up a classic French dessert traditionally made with berries and a flan-like batter. Whip up a batch in less than one hour!

Ingredients
- 1tspbutter
- 10ozblueberries,(1 package), frozen
- 9tbspall purpose flour
- 1pinchbaking powder
- 1pinchsalt
- 1cupbuttermilk
- 3eggs
- 6tbspwhite sugar
- 1tsporange zest,grated
- 1tspvanilla extract
- 1tbspbrown sugar,or more to taste
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a baking dish with butter.

Place a layer of blueberries into the prepared baking dish.

Combine the flour, baking powder, and salt in a small bowl. Whisk together buttermilk, eggs, and sugar in a large bowl.

Add the flour mixture to the buttermilk mixture and stir until batter is smooth. Mix in vanilla extract and orange zest. Carefully pour over blueberries in the baking dish.

Bake in the oven for about 30 minutes, until set. Sprinkle with a thin layer of brown sugar.

Return to the oven and bake for 10 to 15 minutes until sugar is lightly browned.
