How To Make Oatmeal Cookie Bars Recipe
Delicious and chewy oatmeal bars with chocolate chips and nuts.

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup quick-cooking oats
- 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F.

In a mixing bowl, cream the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar together.

Add the egg and vanilla, and mix until well blended.

In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually blend into the butter mixture.

Stir in the oats, chocolate chips, and nuts.

Spread the mixture evenly into a greased 8-inch square baking dish.

Bake for 25 minutes, or until golden brown.
