How To Make Classic Peanut Butter Cookies

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).

In a large mixing bowl, cream butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and peanut butter.

Add the egg and vanilla extract and beat well.

In a separate bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

Add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture and mix until just combined.

Shape the dough into 1-inch balls and place them 2 inches apart on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
