How To Make Layered Mint Chocolate Fudge

Ingredients

  • 1 ¼ cups of dark chocolate chips
  • 1 ¼ cups of white chocolate chips
  • 1 ½ tsp of peppermint extract
  • ¼ cup of sweetened condensed milk
  • Green food coloring (optional)
  • Crushed candy canes (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Line a 9×9 inch baking dish with parchment paper.

  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the dark chocolate chips in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until smooth and melted.

  3. Pour the melted dark chocolate into the prepared baking dish and spread it out evenly.

  4. Place the baking dish in the refrigerator for 15 minutes to allow the chocolate to set.

  5. In another microwave-safe bowl, melt the white chocolate chips in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until smooth and melted.

  6. Stir in the peppermint extract and sweetened condensed milk into the melted white chocolate until well combined. Add green food coloring if desired.

  7. Pour the mint white chocolate mixture over the set dark chocolate layer, spreading it out evenly.

  8. Sprinkle crushed candy canes on top for garnish.

  9. Place the baking dish back in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour to allow the fudge to fully set.

  10. Once set, remove the fudge from the baking dish and cut into squares.

  11. Serve and enjoy!
