How To Make Chocolate Fridge Cake

Ingredients
- 200g dark chocolate
- 150g digestive biscuits
- 100g butter
- 3 tbsp golden syrup
- 50g raisins or any dried fruits (optional)
- 50g chopped nuts (optional)
Instructions

Line a square baking dish with parchment paper.

Crush the digestive biscuits into small pieces and set aside.

In a large heatproof bowl, melt the dark chocolate, butter, and golden syrup together over a pan of simmering water.

Once melted, remove from heat and stir in the crushed biscuits, raisins, and chopped nuts (if using).

Mix until well combined.

Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly, pressing it down firmly.

Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until set.

Once chilled and firm, remove from the fridge and cut into squares or bars.
