How To Make Key Lime Cheesecake

Ingredients
- 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
- 5 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 2 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
- ½ cup granulated sugar

- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Whipped cream and additional key lime zest, for garnish
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 325°F (163°C). Grease a 9-inch (23 cm) springform pan.

In a bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs and melted butter. Press the mixture onto the bottom of the prepared pan.

In a large mixing bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add in key lime juice, key lime zest, eggs, and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined.

Pour the cream cheese mixture over the crust in the pan. Smooth the top with a spatula.

Bake for 35-40 minutes or until the edges are set and slightly golden. The center will still jiggle slightly.

Remove from the oven and let cool in the pan on a wire rack for 1 hour. Then refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight.

Once chilled, remove the cheesecake from the pan and transfer to a serving platter. Garnish with whipped cream and sprinkle with additional key lime zest.

Slice and serve the delicious key lime cheesecake.
