  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 4 tablespoons honey
  • 4 tablespoons water
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda

Instructions

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. In a medium saucepan, combine the sugar, honey, and water over medium heat.

  3. Stir continuously until the sugar dissolves and the mixture starts to bubble.

  4. Cook for another 5-7 minutes, until the mixture turns golden brown.

  5. Remove from heat and quickly whisk in the baking soda until fully combined. Be careful, as the mixture will bubble up.

  6. Pour the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet and spread it out evenly.

  7. Let it cool and harden for at least 1 hour.

  8. Once hardened, break the honeycomb into bite-sized pieces.

  9. Serve and enjoy!
