  • 4 ripe bananas
  • 2 cups of milk
  • 1/2 cup of sugar
  • 4 tablespoons of cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup of chopped dates
  • 1/4 cup of crushed honeycomb candy

Instructions

  1. Peel and slice the bananas.

  2. In a saucepan, heat the milk over medium heat.

  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the sugar and cornstarch.

  4. Slowly pour the sugar mixture into the heated milk, stirring constantly.

  5. Continue stirring until the mixture thickens and comes to a boil.

  6. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.

  7. Pour the custard into serving dishes and let cool for a few minutes.

  8. Top each dish with sliced bananas, chopped dates, and crushed honeycomb candy.
