How To Make Coconut Torte Recipe
This airy, gluten-free coconut torte is perfect for anyone who loves a light dessert with lots of coconut flavor.

Ingredients
- 4 large eggs, separated
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup coconut flour
- 1/4 cup unsweetened shredded coconut
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp cream of tartar
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 6″ springform pan.

In a large bowl, beat egg yolks and sugar until thick and pale.

Add coconut flour, shredded coconut, vanilla extract and salt. Mix until well combined.

In another bowl, beat egg whites and cream of tartar until stiff peaks form.

Gently fold egg white mixture into batter until just combined.

Pour batter into prepared pan and smooth the top with a spatula.

Bake in preheated oven for 40-45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Let torte cool for 10-15 minutes, then remove from pan and let cool completely before slicing and serving.
