How To Make Hazelnut Torte Recipe
This decadent hazelnut torte features layers of sponge cake, coffee liqueur, and whipped cream, topped with hazelnuts.

Ingredients
- 4 eggs
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
- 1/4 cup ground hazelnuts
- 1/2 cup coffee liqueur
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup chopped hazelnuts
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease two 8-inch cake pans and line with parchment paper.

In a large bowl, beat eggs and sugar until pale and fluffy. Stir in vanilla extract.

Sift in flour and cornstarch, then fold in ground hazelnuts.

Divide batter evenly between prepared pans and smooth out tops with a spatula.

Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Remove cakes from pans and brush the tops with coffee liqueur. Let cool completely.

In a large bowl, beat heavy cream and powdered sugar until stiff peaks form.

To assemble the torte, place one cake layer on a plate, top with half of the whipped cream, and sprinkle with chopped hazelnuts. Repeat with remaining cake layer and whipped cream, finishing with hazelnuts.
