How To Make Swedish Blueberry Pie Recipe
A scrumptious and sweet pie loaded with fresh blueberries that has a crumbly buttery crust.
Serves:
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup of granulated sugar
- 1/4 tsp of salt
- 1/2 cup of unsalted butter (cold and cubed)
- 2 cups of fresh blueberries
- 2 tbsp of cornstarch
- 1/4 cup of cold water
- 1 tbsp of fresh lemon juice
Instructions

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a bowl, whisk together all-purpose flour, sugar, and salt.

Add cold cubed butter and use a pastry blender or your fingers to mix until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

Divide the mixture into 2 portions (2/3 and 1/3) and press the larger portion onto the bottom and sides of a 9-inch pie plate.

In a separate bowl, add blueberries, cornstarch, water, and lemon juice. Mix until well combined.

Pour the blueberry mixture onto the crust.

Sprinkle the remaining crumb mixture on top of the blueberry mixture.

Bake for 50 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and the blueberry filling is bubbling.

Let the pie cool for at least 10 minutes before serving.
