How To Make Swedish Rice Pudding Recipe
Creamy, comforting and packed with a hint of vanilla, Swedish rice pudding is the perfect dessert for any chilly day.

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup of Arborio rice
- 2 cups of whole milk
- 3 tablespoons of sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
- 1 vanilla bean or 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup of heavy cream
- 1 egg yolk
Instructions

Preheat oven to 325°F.

In a saucepan, combine rice, milk, sugar, and cinnamon.

Split and scrape the vanilla bean inside the pan or add the vanilla extract.

Bring to a simmer over medium heat and cook for 20-25 minutes, until the rice is tender and the mixture is creamy, stirring occasionally.

In a separate bowl, beat the heavy cream and egg yolk together until well combined.

Remove rice from heat and slowly pour in the egg mixture, stirring continuously.

Pour the mixture into a 8 inch baking dish.

Sprinkle extra cinnamon on top.

Bake in the oven for 30-35 minutes until set.

Loosen around the edges of the pudding, and serve.
