How To Make Israeli Bagel Recipe
A chewy, dense, and slightly sweet bagel recipe that is perfect for any meal of the day.

Ingredients
- 2 cups of flour
- 1 tbsp of sugar
- 1 tsp of salt
- 1 tbsp of dry yeast
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup of warm water
- 1 tbsp of honey
- 1 tbsp of oil
- 1 egg white
- 1 tbsp of sesame seeds
Instructions

In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, salt, and dry yeast.

Add egg, warm water, honey, and oil to the dry ingredients. Mix until well incorporated.

Knead the dough on a floured surface until smooth and elastic.

Cut the dough into 8 equal pieces and roll them into balls.

Make a hole in the center of each ball and shape them into bagels.

Let the bagels rest for 10 minutes.

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

Bring a large pot of water to a boil and add the bagels, one or two at a time. Boil for 30 seconds on each side.

Place the boiled bagels on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Brush the tops of the bagels with egg white and sprinkle sesame seeds on top.

Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
