How To Make Israeli Malabi Pudding Recipe

Ingredients

  • 4 cups of whole milk
  • 3 tbsp of cornstarch
  • 3 tbsp of sugar
  • 1 tsp of rose water
  • Crushed pistachios, shredded coconut, or pomegranate seeds (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a pot, whisk together the milk, cornstarch, and sugar, making sure there are no lumps.

  2. Cook the mixture over medium heat, stirring constantly, until it thickens to a pudding-like consistency, around 15-20 minutes.

  3. Remove from heat and stir in the rose water.

  4. Pour the mixture into small cups and let them cool to room temperature before refrigerating for at least 2 hours.

  5. Once set, top with crushed pistachios, shredded coconut, or pomegranate seeds and serve chilled.
