How To Make Overnight French Toast
Grease a baking dish with butter.
In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla extract, sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
Dip each slice of bread into the egg mixture, making sure to coat both sides.
Arrange the coated bread slices in the greased baking dish.
Pour any remaining egg mixture over the bread slices.
Cover the baking dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight.
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
Remove the baking dish from the refrigerator and let it come to room temperature.
Bake the French toast in the preheated oven for 45 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
Serve hot with maple syrup, fresh fruits, or your favorite toppings.
