How To Make Easy Beginner’s Turkey with Stuffing

Ingredients
- 1 (12-pound) turkey
- 1 cup diced onions
- 1 cup diced celery
- 1 cup diced carrots
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon dried sage
- 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 8 cups cubed bread
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cups chicken broth
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 325°F (163°C) and prepare a roasting pan with a rack.

Clean the turkey and remove the giblets. Pat dry with paper towels.

In a large bowl, combine the onions, celery, carrots, garlic, thyme, sage, rosemary, salt, and black pepper.

Stuff the turkey cavity with the vegetable mixture.

In a separate bowl, toss the cubed bread with melted butter until coated. Place around the turkey in the roasting pan.

Pour the chicken broth over the bread cubes.

Cover the turkey with aluminum foil and roast for about 2 hours.

Remove the foil and continue roasting for an additional 1 hour, or until the turkey reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).

Remove the turkey from the oven and let it rest for 20 minutes before carving.
