How To Make Lo Mein Noodles Recipe

Ingredients
- 8 oz lo mein noodles
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1-inch piece ginger, grated
- 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 1 cup sliced mushrooms
- 1 cup shredded cabbage
- 1 cup shredded carrots
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
- 2 green onions, thinly sliced
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions

Cook the lo mein noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

In a large skillet or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add the garlic and ginger, and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.

Add the bell pepper, mushrooms, cabbage, and carrots to the skillet. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until vegetables are tender-crisp.

In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes (if using). Pour the sauce over the vegetables in the skillet.

Add the cooked noodles to the skillet and toss everything together until well coated in the sauce. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to heat through.

Season with salt and pepper to taste. Garnish with green onions before serving.
