  • 2 cups sweet corn kernels
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup diced cooked chicken
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 1/4 cup diced carrots
  • 1/4 cup diced celery
  • 1/4 cup frozen peas
  • 2 teaspoons soy sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon white pepper
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten


  1. In a large pot, bring chicken broth to a boil. Add corn kernels, diced chicken, green onions, carrots, celery, peas, soy sauce, salt, and white pepper.

  2. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer for 10 minutes, until vegetables are tender.

  3. Stir in the cornstarch mixture and cook for an additional 2 minutes, until soup thickens slightly.

  4. Slowly drizzle the beaten egg into the soup while stirring gently to create ribbons of egg.

  5. Cook for another 1-2 minutes, until the egg is fully cooked.

  6. Serve hot and enjoy!
