How To Make Fountain Blue Restaurant s French Toast Recipe
This classic French Toast is crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, served with warm maple syrup.

Ingredients
- 8 slices of Texas Toast bread
- 4 large eggs
- 1/2 cup of whole milk
- 1/2 tsp of vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp of cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp of nutmeg
- 4 tbsp of unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup of powdered sugar
- 1/4 cup of maple syrup
Instructions

Preheat a nonstick skillet on medium heat.

Whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla extract, cinnamon and nutmeg in a shallow bowl.

Dip the bread into the egg mixture, coating both sides.

Add 1 tablespoon of butter to the skillet and cook French toast until golden brown on both sides (about 2-3 minutes per side).

Repeat with remaining bread slices, adding butter to the skillet as needed.

Dust French toasts with powdered sugar and serve with warm maple syrup.
