Tender chicken breast sautéed with mushrooms and onions in a rich and savory Marsala wine sauce.

Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1/2 cup sliced onions
- 1 cup sliced mushrooms
- 1/2 cup Marsala wine
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 2 tbsp butter
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions

Place chicken breasts between two pieces of plastic wrap and pound them with a mallet until they are evenly thin.

Combine flour, salt, and pepper in a shallow dish. Dredge chicken breasts in flour mixture, shaking off excess.

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook chicken breasts for 4 minutes per side, or until golden brown. Remove from skillet and keep warm.

Add onions and mushrooms to the same skillet. Cook for 5 minutes, or until vegetables are tender.

Pour Marsala wine and chicken broth into skillet. Simmer for 3-4 minutes, or until sauce thickens. Stir in butter until melted.

Add chicken back to skillet and spoon sauce over the top. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve.
