Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 2 cups sliced pickles
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a shallow bowl, mix together flour, garlic powder, paprika, cayenne pepper, black pepper, and salt.

  2. In a separate bowl, pour in buttermilk.

  3. Dip the pickle slices in buttermilk and then coat them in the flour mixture.

  4. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.

  5. Fry the coated pickles in the hot oil for about 2-3 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.

  6. Serve hot.
